I would only recommend this movie to those who live or have lived in the Detroit, Michigan area. It was an interesting historical movie on a true story, but it came much more across as a documentary, then a movie of entertaining. The movie got slow and there was much dialogue that just did not come out clearly.

Too disjointed. Lots of scenes that go nowhere. For example, Rick gets shot but a friend, but nothing comes of it: no follow up on what his shooter did afterward. Did he get arrested? No mention of the "no snitch" policy, it just disappears. Overall,. Some good scenes, but disappointing nonetheless.

THE MOVIE WAS GOOD BUT NOT GREAT. I LOVED THE CONCEPT AND THE IDEA THAT IT WAS A TRUE STORY BUT SOME OF IT WAS CONFUSING AND SOME PARTS WERE SLOW. I DO NOT THINK THE WRITER DID A GREAT JOB OF MAKING THE MOVIE FLUID. THERE WERE TIMES I WANTED IT TO JUST BE OVER. I HAD TO READ ABOUT IT ONLINE AFTER I SAW THE MOVIE TO FULLY UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE THINGS THAT TOOK PLACE.
