I liked the story. When you see the title Hostiles you assume they are referring tor the Indians. In this story it shows both white & Indians as being hostile. Both can be unfriendly, unkind, bitter, and unsympathetic. I liked that the Captian and the Chief evenutally came to respect each other. The movie was great! All the actors did a wonderful job. Will definitely recommend seeing.

Good story short on action slow at times yet entertaining

This movie is heavy. The themes it tackles cut right to the meat of, not just the American experience, but the human one. It is captivating and sincere and violent and quiet. I haven't seen a movie this good in a long while.
