Great storyline with unexpected twists. Nice incorporation of humor within a more serious storyline. Characters were well acted and very believable. Beautiful location settings and costuming. The dresses were amazing!

Loved it, would like to know when you have more screenings

As a vintage sewing machine enthusiast, i was one among thousands looking forward to this movie. Although no one, and I mean no one, can just swing that Singer 201 machine case like a piece of luggage unless there is no machine in it, the opening scene brilliantly set the tone for a quirky set of characters and a laugh out loud look at their outrageous personalities. With an extremely austere and plain backdrop (one wonders where and how they secured such beautiful fabrics!), the fabulous 1950's era clothing and luscious fabrics allowed characters to go through a metamorphosis only to find that the clothes you wear don't always define who you still are. Except for Tilly. Revenge has never been sweeter or prettier. Even those who don't know which side of a sewing machine to sew from will enjoy this movie.
