Great movie with lots of jump scares, special effects and amazing acting.

It was tons of gory fun! In terms of thrills, the film hit the ground running (including my new favorite title shot of all time). It kept its momentum really well up to the end, where I feel it became more clear how it was going to end instead of keeping me on my toes. Overall, everything about the film is fantastic!

Very well written and a well rounded adaptation of the source material. Male characters could have been more developed. Good use of visual and practical effects, but the gore got a bit redundant by the end. Overall the actors did a very good job. Nice to see fresh faces and the family unit actually looked related. As a horror fan and someone that works in the genre would totally recommended the fi
