You those periods romantic movie goers.

The author did have a theme about deformity and love in the original book and screen play with Jason Robard, but their was never anything about the difference in the race composition or a musical. I just get wary about everything in society today being or having a race composition or a woke theme. The change of deformities I can understand or accept ,the race component and musical was difficult to accept and the author of Cyrano had nothing to do with race or music , in telling his story. You did him a dishonor, whether you are a midget or have a huge nose it is the deformity you have to deal

The sets and costumes were absolutely beautiful! The singing was wooden and lyrics just detracted from the story. It was an ineffective mash up of a great play and bad musical, so much so we just left about a quarter of the way in. Remember most of us know the story, or can look it up in a flash on the internet. Peter Dinklage can hold your attention but his singing was poor as were the lyrics (think William Shatner+bad material), which was the same issue for most of the other players.

This movie was pathetic. I came to watch it only because of Peter Dinklage. Unfortunately this was not a good choice for him.
