Great performances. Great Look. Somewhat slow.

Beautifully filmed, touching story of love in difficult times. Cate Blanchett is mesmerizing. Rooney Mara is convincing. A little slow moving, but it works with the story.

Stellar performance (Cate Blanchett). I love the movie. I cried hard during the breakup and during the makeup scenes. Sex scene was lack luster. The love story set in a time when you could lose your family was genius. It gave the movie depth. Cate blanchett is by far my favorite actress of all time. Hands down.

I love the acting and the 1950 costumes. It has drama, a story, tragedy, a slight humor. It's two women who has a deep feeling for each other. The ending was no surprise to me.
