As an ASL student, I was deeply moved by this movie. We are constantly learning about Deaf culture and how one adapts to that lifestyle, yet seeing it portrayed on screen was very insightful. I'm sure many Deaf individuals will find this film empowering as it preaches to embrace their culture rather than view it as an obstacle. Riz Ahmed gives an emotional and powerful performance - quite possibly the best I've seen all year. The sound design was innovative, and I hope it receives some praise at the Oscars. This will be a very memorable movie for me.

The Sound of Metal was a good movie without giving anything away this movie leader Actor was amazing ....the story while it was a 2 hr movie it didnt drag and the pace was good ...i somehow wish for a little more but it was good ....i would watch it again
