The movie was "Riveting"!!!! I can't stop thinking about how the Mother had to survive in that kind of atmosphere. I would have given up but it goes to show how a Mother goes above and beyond for her child to keep him safe. Great movie and will now read the book!!

Intense, intense, intense!! We could see the youngest person ever receive an Academy this year! Fans of the book will NOT be disappointed. The theater was completely silent and my friend didn't even switch positions for the first 40 minutes or so. Excellent movie!

Very moving emotion charged movie. Superb acting by Mom and child characters. Has Oscar written all over it.

This movie was really beautiful. At times it was hard to watch, simply because of the subject matter, but the acting by the two main characters was really exceptional. Overall, it was an inspiring and heartfelt story that had me in tears over how much this mother and son loved one another and depended on each other to survive and to be okay, even under unfathomable circumstances.
