This was a very powerful film with outstanding performances by all. It was very emotional, as well. The actions taken by law enforcement in this film were unconscionable and left me shaken. There have been many films recounting the events of the civil rights era, but I am putting this one at the top of my list since it was not prepared for the outcome and how real and raw the performances were.
