It was OK but a little weird.

Holland is a movie with great ideas and some good execution but ultimately fell a bit flat for me. I felt it could have benefited from a deeper dive into the horror theme. It kind of brushed it but it could have gone much farther. I did enjoy some of the more comedic moments and Michigander accents as a native Michigander. Nicole was great as expected, her delivery of the line “ oh, no” was Oscar worthy. Great ideas and a solid start, but needed more?

I would recommend to watch at home, not good enough for a theater visit or the cost. I liked that there were some funny parts where I found myself laughing out loud, something I didn't expect of a thriller movie!

Enjoyable, but dragged in parts, had questions left unanswered …. Like the Michigan references- ….
