Though I love the historical story of Martin Luther King Jr, this was a bit of a letdown. The movie dragged in the first half, there were way too many scenes and closeups with Oprah, who is so well known, it's distracting from this serious, historical story. I did feel that David Oyelow was convincing by movie's end as Martin Luther King Jr. About 20 min too long.

Very enlightening despite the fact that we know how it ends. Topical vis a vis more recent " trigger finger" brutalities occurring in the U. S. against young black African American men. Universally excellent portrayals from the astonishing cast - both well-known and newcomers. Judicious choices of MLK speeches in the well-rounded script. Needs more illumination for interior &night; scenes, however

Uncomfortable but necessary reminder of our history. Show just how much we've advanced.

the movie was great. there was some missing pieces of the movement of 1963. but, there is only so much that you can fit in a 2 hour movie.
