it was a thought provoking movie. We take our hearing and sight for granted so when it is lost, I can see how profound a loss that can be. The film really plays with the auditory experience to give the viewer a sense of the disorientation that Ruben must feel. There was more to the backstory on the relationship of the two main characters that I wanted to know about. Also I wish the relationships that formed while Ruben was at the farm/school/rehab were more fleshed out. But it was a captivating movie.

Iv’e never seen a movie that put me in the shoes of someone who has lost their hearing. It was terrifying yet riviting. The acting was spectacular, and the movie brought me into a world I knew little about. The ending was a little heart wrenching, but it had a depth that kind of sticks with you.

The story line was very good but we had trouble with the connection do weren't able to see how it ended unfortunately! What we were able to view was a great plot!
