It was an homage to violence. No dialog and Jen Garner deserves better. I guess she has bills to pay as a single mother.

It was one long shootout. I would have liked to know more about the 5 intervening years.

It was a fun action movie at times but overall not worth paying to see in the cinema. It brought nothing new to the action or revenge movie genre. The dialogue between the cops was pretty cringeworthy at times and felt wooden. Also, Method Man appeared randomly near the end of the film with no character development. Lots of better and more entertaining revenge films to watch before this one.

The writing and acting were subpar. The difference between this movie and Taken is that she started out as a bank teller. Not enough time was devoted to explaining how she trained to become a killing machine and surveillance queen.
