It was an interesting premise and my 12 year old loved it. The actors and actresses were great!!

An adorable story that brings to light the importance of being human, and appreciating what life has to offer.

I liked the Movie however in the ending I can't understand why the Uncle who Gardner thought was his father did not come down to the water to help after seeing the Dr. and surrogate mom show up Im sure he realized at that point that gardner was telling the truth about who his mom was, why he wasn't at the base to see him off, or why when gardner mentioned what he gained he said father, a love, but he didn't say an Uncle. It just feels like the whole story was about getting to this man but as soon as we get to a seen with him he is shown nor spoke of anymore.

I liked it. Acting was good. A feel good movie. Liked the cast.
