The film captured the loneliness and pain of not conforming to conventional expectations. Well done.

Sensitively told story of how it was, and how it is still for many LGBTQ people. When can we all be more understanding? This movie may help to make that happen.

Uncle Frank was an interesting film of self-discovery for Frank and his niece Beth. Characters, especially Wally, added warmth and humor, Paul Bettany and Sophia were quite watchable.

It's a thought look at how families deal with diversity within the family. i felt the characters represented real people with real issues. Even those who were seemingly common stereotypes were given depth and warmth. it is a great conversation starter.
