I think that Jumanji is the perfect movie to revive: loved it when I was a kid, but recognized even then that it wasn't a great movie. Therefore, I had pretty low expectations of this going in. I wasn't expecting much of it, and so I was pleasantly surprised at how often I laughed. I think that if Hollywood is going to continue to remake shows and movies with a built in fanbase to guarantee revenue over artistic innovation, then this is the way to go: pick something with room for improvement

Good mix of comedy and action.

This movie is a fun romp. It is an interesting concept to be an event inside an old game. It is enough of a fantasy to be fun and realistic enough to develop empathy for the players. I throughly liked it. It was a good escape!

The movie was really god, very funny, and I would see it again.
