When I was 11 years old, I loved the book "Are you there God, its me Margaret" and think this is a very nice movie for pre-teen girls but even as a adult i found it funny, lighthearted and entertaining.

Wonderful story! Loved the 3 leading ladies in the film. It was funny at times with heart touching moments.

The time period accuracy was really fun to watch. I also appreciated the balance between the adult story line and the adolescent one.

It's a feel good, family movie. For me personally, this was my era. The screen with her Mom we she "got it" was exactly how it happened for me. A good memory.
