This was an excellent B movie. Campy, scary and funny. Just the right mix. Perfect Halloween flick.

It definitely made me jump a few times throughout the movie. I thought the idea of relating the modern day story to ancient times was great! I felt that a little more of the back story would have been nice to build up the modern day story. ie: have the modern day people travel to the area of that in the ancient times and have a few experiences there. Overall it was not a bad story line and the execution of it was not that bad either.

For a movie with a ridiculous premise, I found it among the better pg-13 horror movies of the last few years. It was enjoyable with some unique scares, set pieces, and characters. Fell in to generic tropes like usual, but did enough to make it something I’d recommend to an average horror fan.
