Movie was just okay. Writers did bad job of character building. You had no idea of who the people were that were killing people that shine. No explanation given at all. The length of movie was too long. Not sure I would have paid to see it.

It’s a good sequel to the shining, bringing in lots of nostalgia. But the plot was convoluted and at times a mess. Overall being a good nostalgia trip with a messy execution.

Cinematography was great, loved the homage to The Shining, but felt rushed. Acting was as expected and i enjoyed the characters but it felt, too easy, for the main characters. The endnding was predictable and uneventful.

The movie held true to the book, but was lacking in the fright and suspense factors.
