dont like how they changed a number of things in the movie. Original is by far the best. You cannot compare to the old MGM movie.Especially Charlton Heston

It was so bad that it luckily became hilarious. Cinematography was a big part in ruining the movie with some shots being too close and some shots not being stable enough. I mean a supposedly romantic scene would not need a zoomed in shaky cam now would it?What made it weaker however was the relatively boring performances. Along with the fact that some scenes/parts of the movie felt forced.

The movie carried far too much of a religious overtone. It's attempted message of forgiveness and redemption didn't work. And probably the biggest crime was the botching of the chariot race.....the lengths of the rounds was inconsistent, and the action was confusing as well as the actual spacial relationship between the first and last chariot. I wanted to like this one, but I give it 1 star

The movie was inaccurate but the actors were great!
