A solid meditation on music, addiction, and coming to terms with a disability.

it was slow moving but very powerfully acted. I loved the ending...really made me think...about whether or not Ruben really needed hearing to be able to live a good life and that Lou was doing very well actually without the touring life.

I enjoyed the movie but the protagonist was a little too perfect. Not that I would've wanted him to be a bad guy, but given his situation if he was angrier about it, he may have been a little more realistic. Overall, I thought it was a very good movie with solid acting. I would watch it again.

Good movie. Gave me some insight into the world of deaf people, which is important to me as I have a deaf friend.
