Loved the acting and special effects but it reminded me of the "The Creature from the Black Lagoon", I just couldn't buy into the creature.

Bizarre story but visually stunning look to the movie.

Dark and strange, with some touching moments; I didn't applaud at the end like many others did. I enjoyed Richard Jenkin's and Octavia Spencer's performances.

It was an interesting, fascinating plot. The acting was excellent. I thought Octavia Spencer did a phenomenal job (as always). I enjoyed the story and the relationship developments between the characters. I did not like all of the graphic nudity and sex scenes. That is why I cannot recommend it. However, I did enjoy it overall and am glad I saw the film.
