Reboot of the original with more acting. The "footage" was not realistic at all. Full of mistakes.

By comparison, the original release appeared authentic, less contrived, and therefore more frightening and believable. Endless abrupt micro-bursts of noise, frames impossible to focus and mixed-person camera shots overplayed the drama. Cameo scenes gratuitously portraying a string of fearful circumstances resembled a roller coaster ride through a house of horrors.

A really poor remake of a movie that wasn't really that good itself. Expected more.

While I appreciate the preview, this movie was nearly unwatchable. It took all of the worst aspects of the original (which was, in general, a pretty good movie) and just amplified them - made the camera work more shaky, the jump cuts even jumpier, the noises louder and even less applicable to the scene being shown, and still not really explaining anything about what was actually going on.
