The first 20 minutes of the film were slow going. But it gave you background on the characters. Once the movie got passed the first 20 minutes, it was great. Bring a lot of Tissues as it will pull on those heart strings.

Interesting movie, that not only dealt with the boxing world, but also family matters. I would have liked to seen a ending on how the family reestablished themselves.

Hard not to compare boxing movies with Rocky. They always see to be about the same they get beaten down and out and then come bac kind of the same way as Rocky . This was a little different with wife getting killed and put a little tear jerker to it. Good thing the cast was good, may not be as good as was. Rachel rocks anything.
