Movie was good but story line hard to follow

It was slow you had to really pay attention. I didn’t realize she was telling the story of the book until the very end.

It's a wonderful story. I've read and seen other films about it. My favorite adaption of the movie is with Susan Surandon, Wynona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst etc. I felt this film compared to that film was all over the place. I didn't like how you couldn't really see the transition of age throughout the years with these girls. Especially Amy's character. Which was better represented with Kirsten Dunst. My husband had never seen or read Little Women and said he wasn't able to follow the movie.
