Very good movie! It was entertaining and believable. The plot had depth as did the characters. It humanized everyone and showed how all people are very, very similar.

Great movie for kids and adults

This movie was hilarious from start to finish. Beautiful images of Singapore and loved how there is a universal depiction of the various personalities that can be found in every family. Constance Wu did an amazing job and Awkwafina is a STAR!

Was better than I expected it to be. So much funnier and was surprisingly a tear jerker! A lot of the things mentioned about the culture was accurate as well. Only minor concern was that the families (especially mom and son) spoke different dialects of Chinese but it was saved by the fact that the entire time they spoke to each other they spoke in English instead of their own dialect.
