It was a beautiful movie. A bit slow paced at times but excellent acting and moving story.

Cute, funny, sad film of friendship in high school. Entertaining and excellent acting by all.

a real tear jerker. The acting and casting were exceptional, and captured teen angst to a tee, as well as t he desperation of family members and friends who watch a loved one die slowly. Were it not for the humor and quirkiness of the father and the over-the-top of the history teacher, the film could have been maudlin, but the director nailed it. Expect award nominations.
