special effects were great.the story was interesting at start, but then went no where.

I gave it 2 stars because I seen the original animated film and have followed the series itself. Had I done neither of these things however I would have given it 4 stars.I think the movie as a movie and unconnected to the original Ghost in the Shell was entertaining with Top-Notch effects and even the acting was solid; the plot needed work and tried too hard to nod to the original.

Good imagery, but scenario already view a million times, it's too much american, there is no effort. Because of this bad narration already view, like in "minority report", "The Bourne Supremacy" or an hundred other movies, we have no suspense and no question on ourself at the end

Story was flat but effects were good.
