Very good movie loved how diverse it was and accurate to NYC life

Important social justice issues addressed are timely and are depicted on the personal experience but also as Boogie interacts with his family, his girlfriend, his team mates and the larger community. The only reason it might not be worthy of 5 stars is that some of the dialogue appears staged.

It was good. We enjoyed it.

It was enjoyable. The cultural aspects made it feel authentic and realistic. The coming of age story was not cookie cutter and did not have the perfect ending we have come to expect. I would enjoy a part 2 to see the growth and development of the characters, even if they don't do what I want.
