It was very touching for understanding the loss of a sense. The knowledge that you can gain from loss with the combination of community and friendships that can make you hole again. It really made getting the cochlear hearing aid look bad. The acting was superb, the direction was good, the photography was decent. The pacing for the movie was pretty good from scene to scene. I feel like I got something out of it.

The use of silence and film style to make it so personal was really well done.

Watched this with my 15 year old son as he was doing something else. He continuously found himself watching the film. We enjoyed it, could not imagine the struggle of loosing something you thought your life depended on. My son said the ending was terrible, I could see the end coming while he was being taught to sit in silence and be at peace with it. We all have to adjust to unseen events in our life.
