I enjoyed the history of this strong woman than way way ahead of her time. The flashbacks to the future is distracting. Rosamund Pike is very good. Loved the soundtrack.

For the most part, I thought it was a solid film that tells the amazing story of a great woman. The story itself should have been enough to make a movie, I'm not sure the occasional cuts to future events related to radiation were necessary. I would have been okay with that, but the scene where Marie Curie sees visions of people she couldn't possibly have known was really jarring and felt a bit overdone. Thinking back on it after a little while, I can kind of see what the intention was but I don't think it came off well, and it coming at the very end left a bad impression of a decent movie.

What carries this movie is the fact that it was about Marie Curie. There were some dubbing issues and some seemingly random patchwork between scenes. Production value was not as good as it could have been
