Decent performances, John Leguizamo and Diane Kruger are standouts, however this cannot save what is an extremely well-worn, boilerplate story that has virtually no surprises or fresh ideas. Clunky dialogue, cliche plot elements and an overall ugly look to the cinematography do little to salvage a film that feels like a retread of so many other undercover drug stories.

The acting and plot were good but a bit too graphic and long for me.

Cranston and Kruger were underwhelming. The plot didn't need to center the white characters to be compelling. Bratt and Leguizamo should have had more screen time. Also, the homophobic jokes and violence were not appreciated.

I actually left an hour into the movie, most of it was dark or drab colored and seemed to move very slowly for me.
