If you like classic horror, watch 50 States Of Fright. It’s well made and reminiscent of old anthology TV horror such as Tales from the Crypt. There’s gore, tongue in cheek humor, good actors, and classic horror storytelling that is perfect for a PG-13 / R Halloween. I really enjoyed it. I was hooked after the first two stories.

I'm a horror movie fan and the stories were good--enough suspense, enough fright--but, I wanted more. I suppose I haven't quite gotten used to the "snippet" format, small, mini movies or shows. I found that just as I was committing to the show, it was over, and I was left wanting.

Are you a grown up who loved Scary Tales to Tell in the Dark, R.L. Stein boos, or Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark? If so, 50 States of Fright will be perfect for you. The feeling watching is the same as we had back then but the effects are more suited to an adult audience. \rMy only complaint was that the gore was gratuitous at times which is a turn off.

I liked it. Kind of predictable but I still enjoyed it. It’s something different
