Absolutely brutal depiction of the reciprocal lawlessness needed against the cartels that will exist as long as drugs are villainized. The acting and aerial cinematography was wonderful, but the plot was a little convoluted.

Intense with plenty of action. Not for everyone, yet I thoroughly enjoyed it. Three main characters were very well cast and did a great job. Josh Brolin was excellent portraying cool irreverence while hiding a mission focused intensity. Emily blunt was a seasoned professional and yet was both native and innocence in her new world. Simply put, Benicio Del Toro was outstanding.

The pace was perfect and the characters were rich. I enjoyed the suspense and not knowing what the unconventional agents were going to do next. While I don't condone violence against innocents, it does make one reevaluate what's necessary to end cartel violence.

Benicio deserves a Oscar. Great movie
