It's not a good biopic, unfortunately. The story-telling is a little disjointed and even though Rosamund Pike is a fantastic actress, she could not make the writing better.

Radioactive offered a glimpse into at Marie Curie's life (at least the more prominent science career related parts), which I mostly did not know about. There were some elements that seemed to evoke a horror movie quality, which was a bizarre direction. It was interesting to interpose modern day applications of radioactivity with her developing research. I'm not sure the story was all that cohesive. It seemed like some snippets that were tied together because of the subject matter, rather than actual logical direction.

It's a decent biopic though slow moving. I don't think it quite covers the atrocities that radium causes and focuses too much on the celebration of it. Having read Radium Girls, I was anticipating some horrifying (but accurate) displays.

It was ok, but not for everyone. Had some interesting bits but also some parts that seemed to drag.
