Love it!

It was a great movie, I’m glad it displayed real life situations similar to my own regarding representation. Very family oriented and focuses on the important values of family and community. The songs, the lyrics and choreography was fantastic but it was a bit difficult to hear what the characters said, music was a tad overpowering. Other than that, great plot and beautiful imagery.

I love the representation and how they added to the story (i.e., mentioning issues that undocumented folks face as well as first generation college students). I was a little sad that some songs were cut, but feel that what they added to the story as well as the amazing choreography and shots made up for it a bit.

I cried multiple times. Masterfully translated one of my all-time favorite musicals to the screen. A love letter to New York. I will watch it again and again. Thank you for finally making this movie, and for doing it justice. Rest assured I have already yelled about it to all my friends.
