Great portrayal of how hard it is for a “good boy” to break from his cultural upbringing

I really enjoyed this movie, but I love Springsteen music. I loved the story, the acting and, of course, all the music. I would highly recommend this.

While the pacing of it is a bit uneven, and it can seem a bit slow to start, once things get going it’s a fun ride. The cast all did a great job and the lead is endearing. Knowing this was inspired by true events makes it even more enjoyable. This movie will be loved by people who grew up in the 80’s, are fans of Springsteen, and people who enjoy a good coming of age story with a twist.
