It was just ok.

Lots of actionStory hard to follow

It is very difficult to rate this movie because it has its goods and bads. The art, the visual effects are really good. The way the story was presented was at times beyond boring, it doesn't wrap you. The cast of Scarlett Johansson makes it seem desperate to bring people in the theaters. The manga and OVAs were a success because of the originality; here, we are just seeing another Aeon Flux.

The visuals were great, but the storyline was not cohesive. There were a lot of times where the movie tried to match scenes from the original movie to the new plot, and it didnt work. For someone who never saw the original, the movie was confusing and had too much story downtime. For someone who saw the original like me, I saw what it tried to do, but it wasn't well enough to make it a good movie.
