Such a great movie that displayed one man's dark secret that had to be hidden from those he loved. Refreshing movie!

It was good to show how time can help unharden peoples heart but sad it takes so long. Even today.

I enjoyed the film. The standout in the cast was the titular character of Frank. The rest of the cast was so skilled in their craft that they fit in naturally like set pieces, but were written a little one-dimensional with a few exceptions (Beth/Wally). \rThe minimalist story-telling by interspersing the flashbacks throughout the present day story was effective and kept the story moving while informing the character of Frank. \rThe color palette was bright and evocative of the South, ultimately succeeding in creating another character (the South) with all the implications of that region/period.

Well acted. Good writing. Good cinematography. Good editing. Touching story.
