Too many jump scares and cheesy ending. Wish they would have focused more on the story of La llorona instead of the haunting of the modern-day characters.

Though it relies heavily on the trope of jump scares, overall I enjoyed this movie. Good for a rainy night.

It was a good wholesome family film. Full of surprises.

This movie should have been given a Spanish approach to spirit horror, not the Hollywood one that has become a cliche. Cheap jumps were over done & silent kids after trauma should've freaked out like real kids would've. A tighter script would've helped & it would've lent well to a slow unfolding of implied horror ala Rosemary's Baby. This film could have been much more. The ex-priest was great!
