This movie was a mix of everything, had suspense, drama and plenty of comedy segments. I was surprised at the lax reaction of the mother to all the child did and was more surprised at the positive outcome of the child at the end when he's narrating and says that it was hard to explain his mother to his own kids.

I didn't like it, but enjoyed the experience.

Good movie w/ great dialogue - it had the right amount of seriousness & humor. Enjoyed Annette Bening she tied it all together. Ending was sad - wished it was happier how everyone ended up.

Funny how single mom, Dorthea, raises her son & starts to freak out because she thinks she no longer can relate to his world. Enjoyed the cast - great chemistry. Good story line. I was hoping for a better ending, it was sad that when they got older & moved on they stopped communicating with each other.
