The movie is ok. I liked the cast and it was nice seeing Ellen Burnstyn return. The 2 young actresses were really good too.

I had a great experie ce and the movie was good, however the first part of the movie was way better than the rest, it started strong and finished slow and was less than I had hoped for.

I think they took the same direction with this, as they did with 2018’s Halloween. They basically made this the true sequel to the original and completely ignored any sequels and tv shows that came after it. I actually thought this was a decent film. It has some good call backs to the original film, but made this story stand on its own. 3.5/5.

Only see it if you are a fan of Leslie Odom Jr. Or the original Exorcist. I wanted a bit more. Not as much horror, dread or scares as I expected.
