Very strong, moving and entertaining.

Everyone should watch this movie - to learn something about U.S.'s recent history

The Mauritanian was hard to watch but it was excellent. The movie was well-acted. The characters well developed. The movie sheds light on the horrible conditions and the horrific cover-up of the US government on the dealings of what went on in the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp and more particularly of what they did to Mohamedou Ould Salahi. This movie needs to be seen by everyone. Many Americans are unaware of the government's treatment of torturing prisoners at Guantanamo. The military treated people like animals. They forced confessions out of the prisoners and justified their actions by calling all prisoners terrorists. I am sure that this movie will lead to many discussions about our government, its practices, and our justice system.
