I'm a huge Taylor K fan, so almost anything he is in I love.

I liked it. You developed a feeling of the tightness of the group. You got a feeling of the peril of the job they did. I felt the movie moved along and did not bog down in any part. I also liked the relationship between the Marsh couple and of course Jeff Bridges gave his usual strong performance.

An inspiring story, that captivated the audience from the opening scene. Great performance from Josh Brolin, and the cinematography was great as well. They were able to show the beauty of the fires as well as convey how absolutely terrifying they were. Some of the pacing of the movie felt off. And the technical jargon of them trying to become hot shots and the politicking for that felt rushed-and that made it a little confusing for those who didn't understand the process or what a hot shot was

It was sad, but a great movie!
