Very good acting

Transition from young boy to soldier was too quick and at first I was disturbed by the last scene where Christopher is seen as a child again instead of the grown man he was... but on second thought maybe that was their way of saying they made peace with the character in a book after seeing the good that it did during wartime .

It was rather slow moving but interesting subject

It was a tear jerker. Loved the story line
