Very good storyline based on true events. Superb acting from Brie Larson, Naomi Watts and Woody Harrelson, as one would expect, but the unknown child actors were great as well.

Resonates with me as I've experienced alcoholism.

They did a great job translating the book into film, but the book had a lot more emotional depth.
