Amazing cast, great script, fantastic sequel to The Shining

Good story line. Worth the 21/2 hours

Really good. Could have been a tad bit shorter, but all in all I really enjoyed it.

A good marriage between the aesthetics of the Kubrick take and King's writing. I was a bit disappointed in some of the writing at the beginning because it felt a little too contrived. The recasting of wendy and jack was fine but there were some moments at the beginning where it felt like a goofy reenactment. Overall the plot was engaging, special effects well used, and the cast very well acted
