Familiar, but still entertaining. The fishman character was pretty compelling.

Is the creature has much immortality with Godly power. If that is the case, why didn't the creature escape from his holding cell. At the end of the movie the creature show that he does have the power to revive his love and live to together forever. Sequel??never ending love and life Is this unexplainable to leave it to the movie goer toseek out the confusion what really happen?.
