Good documentation from what was permitted from the Government. The characters were able to reveal their feelings in a way that the audience felt the pain too. Bringing in family members to change the person's testimony was calculated and dishonest. Thankfully the true story was able to show the tactics our military is able to use outside the legal realm of our government. Citizens continue to seek justice for the true terrorists who masterminded 911.

I normally do not watch films based on politics, historical events, and so forth. However, this film was absolutely amazing. The acting was outstanding throughout the entire film. I felt a deep emotional connection to the characters, especially Mohamedou. This is a film that I feel many Americans need to sit down and watch to realize the horrible things that our government has done to people purely based on their ethnicity and the people they were associated with. I think more Americans need to realize the atrocities that have happened at Guantanamo Bay and to hear about Mohamedou's story. I found this film to be so well written, and acted that I will be picking up his memoir to read. I also very much enjoyed the real-life footage of his release and his life after finally being freed. I feel that this film is important not just for America but also for the world to see. We need to know what the American government did and even continues to do to innocent human beings. I will be recommending this film when it is released publicly, and I would most definitely love to watch it again.

This film exceeded my expectations. Incredibly cast, just beautifully done. Eye opening, frightening, maddening, incredibly sad, and yet brilliantly uplifting.

This was a very powerful film that reminds of the many transgressions of our country and its government. It should be seen by every American. The actors were great and I am sure worthy of awards, I felt shame for the behavior of so many officials. Stuart Couch exhibited great moral courage which other members of the services did not, Forgiveness means the same as freedom in Arabic, It should be nominated for best picture
