The portrayal of Washington Heights was very accurate. The diversity of the music was exciting to see with the mix of genres. Also the depiction of first generation children of immigrants was well done!

Gorgeous musical film- the cinematography, choreography, casting, and even the foley artist work was outstanding. Each story line grabs you, pulls you in, and gives you un abrazo FUERTE! The themes of social justice, identity, and community connected with me on every level. \r\rI cannot thank you enough for this special experience I will share con todo mi familia!

I didn't expect all the changes from the musical, but they worked well. The cast is fantastic (Anthony Ramos is a delight!) and it will look gorgeous on a movie screen! I think the sound mix is a little off, w/the vocals all feeling very quiet; i know every word & still had to work to hear a lot of them. It delivered emotionally on everything i was hoping for (heart, humor, wisdom, high energy).

Very amazing movie! Music, visuals, choreography all amazing! They skipped and changed some songs but it was still amazing! I’ll definitely be listening to the soundtrack on repeat! What a cast too!
